“Unicorn Bags’ big Unicorn Bags” is an irritating phrase to write, but the company is called Unicorn Bags and they have also called the individual bags “Unicorn Bags” so that is correct. But fuck it, you’re not here to critique the grammar, you’re here because you’re in need of some large bags to hold your substrate in.
If you’re at this stage of your growing career, then you know that Unicorn Bags are where it’s at, and that they produce specifically-designed products for mushroom cultivation, whether that’s at home, or on a massive scale. It’s a bit of a pain for the home mushroom grower to try and import 1000 of these at a time though, so we buy them and then you can buy them from us. Easy, and quick.
This bag will hold about 4kg of your substrate of choice, which will give you enough room to add your colonised grain of choice (or you could just use it to sterilise your substrate and then mix it all together in a monotub if that’s how you do things!

This side-gusseted breathable bag gives a sturdy stand-up bag after filling and a strong bottom seal. They manufacture it with equipment they designed and with proprietary additives, Unicorn Bags are pliable at any temperature as well as after sterilization. The bag opening is designed for easy sealing and the bag’s bottom seal can withstand agitation.
Bigger bags = more substrate and spawn = more mushrooms at a time!
I've been using these XLS-A Unicorn bags from MycoPunks and they are top-notch. They hold up incredibly well during sterilization and handle our local wood pellet substrate perfectly. We grow a lot of Lion's Mane, Blue Oyster, and King Oyster mushrooms, and these bags provide the exact environment they need to thrive. Highly recommended!

The bags are ok but i thought they had injection ports. Probaly my fault shopping in a rush but at a glance its not clear.
The fact that one product is called '10T Unicorn Bag' and one is called '10T W/ Injection Port Unicorn Bag' and INJECTION PORT written in bold black letters on the product image I would *hope* is clear enough. Giving a product a bad review because you were in a rush doesn't seem paticularly fair, but I guess we will just have to live with it. All the best with your mycology journey. Chris

I’m in the place where you have to give it a go and I’ve yet to use these.bags but I gave them a good look and they are good quality, so I’m eager to get to the point of using them. MycoPunks has provided me with nearly everything I need (except the end result) but I’m well happy with their products and services.
I thought I’d have a go so I checked these out and they look really good. I’ve yet to use them but I have no concerns about the quality of them, plus the company are really helpful. Nice work guys.

These bags are great, never had any issues with them. Fully autoclavable & are still pretty malleable after pressure cooker for hours. Haven’t tried using them more than twice yet but so far so good
