Ordering custom pre-pour agar
Pouring Day
We pour on Mondays and Wednesdays, if you put your order in before 9AM your order will be poured in that run. If you order after 9am Wednesday you will be in the Monday run.
Cooling / Drying (Day Three)
After pouring your agar order is left to dry in our ULPA flow cabinet for two days. The two day drying period minimises condensation on the plates before we shrink wrap.
Sealing / Q&A (Day four)
We go through final quality checks on the last day. Plates are shrink wrapped and air sealed inside our ULPA flow cabinet and are then passed over to the shipping team.
How to get agar as quickly as possible!
Order timing
Order before 9am on Monday or Wednesday and you'll be included in the pour run the same day. Monday ready to ship Wednesday | Wednesday ready to ship Friday.
Anarchy
Ordering our anarchy agar product means we will send you whatever mix we have in stock (IF WE HAVE OVERSTOCK). We won't ever send water agar or antibiotic agar.
No colour or "We choose" MEA
We try and carry overstock of Malt Extract Agar with no colour added at all times so you are more likely to get shipped out first with these options.

We are a small team and sometimes things get a bit busier than expected (especially during holiday periods). We will always do our best to communicate delays or extended leadtimes. But if you think something might be wrong you can reach out to us below and we will get back to you asap.
