Microppose Autoclavable/Reusable 90mm x 15mm Petri Dishes

We (obviously) love Microppose products, and a reusable, affordable petri dish is right in line with our ethos of “mycology for everyone”. You haven’t got to spend a fortune if you don’t want to, you can still get results (and they’re a bit better for the planet than the alternatives). 

Made from high temp polypropylene which means you can just give them a wash after use, and then get them hot in your pressure cooker or autoclave - they’ll then be sterile and good to use again and again.

After use, clean them gently with a soft sponge so that you don’t scratch them, or put them into the top tray of your dishwasher, up to you, whatever’s easiest. 

To re-sterilise them, put them into an autoclave or small mushroom grain bag (don’t seal the bag please), get it into the pressure cooker or autoclave at 15psi for 15 minutes, and then you are hot to trot, mister. Over time there will be some minor warping and clarity loss, but that's the way the reusable stuff goes.
