70% iso kills bacteria and some other contaminants. Simply spray and allow to dry completely and then you are next to godliness or whatever.
It’s not magic, the booze denatures the cells, given a little bit of time. If you have a higher percentage of alcohol (like the 90% stuff) then it doesn’t work very well because it evaporates too quickly, and 70% is the exact sweet spot for murdering bad shit. Doesn’t kill everything, but is an essential part of your toolkit.
