Milo (Red dari) for Mushroom Spawn

Basically big millet and I won't let anyone else convince me otherwise - because it’s also known as “giant millet”! 

This is another ace, cheap grain for making grain spawn, so you can get growing loads of mushrooms. We first tried this grain out in some in-house tests, and it did so well that we then released it to our Discord community, and it continued to do so well that we now sell both the sterile prepared grain and the raw grain. We can get it at a pretty decent price because we buy so much of it, so if you’re sick of getting gouged on the price by Holland and Barrett or wherever then you can buy some of ours.

We’ll assume if you’re looking in the raw grain section then you probably already know what you’re doing, so here’s the condensed version:

✅ Loads of suitable nutrients

✅ Pretty rapid colonisation

✅ Not expensive

That’s about it really, you can’t say fairer than that.

Note: There might be other bits in with your grain (seeds/chaff) - it won't affect anything and the mushrooms will munch on it willingly.

Storage:

• It’ll last for yonks if you store it somewhere cool, dark and dry
• It will last for less time if you store it somewhere the opposite of any of these things
• Make your choice

As this is unprocessed you’ll need to do some work yourself to get it ready for your mushroom genetics - if you haven’t got the time/energy/equipment to do this, then don’t worry because we sell the ready-to-use version too!
