Microppose Adhesive Lid Filters for Cultivating Mushrooms Air Exchange

Similar to their breathable tub filters, these allow you to whack a hole through one of your jar lids, and then cover it with one of these lid filters to make sure that nothing unwanted gets through the hole. Much better than wrestling with a bit of dodgy old micropore tape that’s been in the cupboard gathering dust, as the bottom of this isn’t exposed until you remove the backing. If you’re cultivating mushrooms at home, these should definitely be part of your go-to toolkit. 

Whack one of these filters onto a jar lid, a liquid culture container, or really anything that needs to be protected from contaminants but still be able to breathe. Doing any injections or transfers? Lovely, these are great for that sort of project. Could probably even put a couple over your nostrils when someone drops their guts and not get any farts up there. Nope, I’ve just googled it, these will not protect against fart molecules but with a 0.3 filter they’ll protect your mycelium from everything else that might trouble it.
