Water agar plates have no nutrients, they provide a platform and moisture for your wild mycelium to grow upon whist denying bacteria and yeasts a food source. When successful you will see sparse growth from your piece of cloned fungi. Once growth is enough, transfer to a wide spectrum media plate like MEYA or PDYA to feed your new healthy sample!

| Some condensation is expected in transit, agar pre-pours have a high water content. We recommend putting them in a cool dark place for a few days stacked with the ziplock end facing up (plates facing down), consistent temperature will reduce condensation. |

Plates sealed in ziplock bags in packs of 10, please inspect when they arrive to ensure no damage or issues.
