86mm Autoclavable Plastic Lids (For Mushroom Spawn Grain Jars or Liquid Culture) - Widemouth

These are “built-in-gasket” style lids, no jars included.

Suitable for those widemouth mason jars often used for home mushroom cultivation, with liquid culture production or PF Tek cake creation being particularly suited to the shape and size of the jar. They’re not bad for making spore syringes either, and it’s a lot more cost-effective than buying pricy lab equipment. These lids fit the Bonne Maman jam jars really nicely too if you want to save a bit of money and eat middle-class jam like a lord. 

PF Tek has fallen off the mycological radar a little recently, because (in my opinion) it’s a touch outdated and there are better ways of doing things. However, this doesn’t mean PF Tek doesn’t have a place, learning how to make your own cakes has a whole load of transferable skills that are really useful in mushroom cultivation across the board, and also you get to pretend you’re like Terrance McKenna for a moment or two and that’s often fun.
