Thomas Læssøe currently works at the Department of Biology & Globe Institute, University of Copenhagen. Thomas does research in Mycology. He is involved in Danish fungal atlas projects, co-edit the local journal Svampe, works on red listing of the Danish funga, co-authors books on fungal identification and diversity. He has a long lasting interest in tropical mycology and the family Xylariaceae.
