These filters can be applied to metal jar lids to allow your culture to breathe while protecting it from contaminant spores and bacteria. Punch 1/4" hole(s) in your metal lid discs before applying the filter. One to two holes are usually sufficient. Great for projects involving wedge transfers and grain transfers.
