Vi spurgte vores Discord-fællesskab, hvad vi skulle kalde disse, så af respekt for vores skøre kundebase vil jeg inkludere de navne, de foreslog, nederst.
Selve produktet er ikke noget særligt nyt. Det er dybest set en modificeret pp5-potte med højnæringsagar. Den har en Microppose injektionsport og filter for at tillade gasudveksling.
Hvorfor er den sej?
Spiringsporer
For det første får den dig til at bruge agar, hvis du aldrig har prøvet det. Du kan injicere et par dråber sporeopløsning gennem porten og se den vokse ud på agaren. Den høje næringsblanding afslører kontaminering.
Flydende kultur
Det er her, det bliver rigtig sejt. Den typiske proces for at skabe flydende kultur er at skabe sterilt flydende kulturmedie og overføre dit mycelium fra agar til LC, når pladen er godt koloniseret. Dette kræver en aseptisk teknik. Som et absolut minimum en still air box.
Jeg tænkte for nylig, hvorfor ikke gøre det omvendt?
Så vi tilsatte 20 ml sterilt LC-medie til potten, efter at myceliet havde etableret sig. Og ganske rigtigt, 2 dage senere havde vi mycelium voksende i væsken på overfladen af agaren. Vi rystede det, trak derefter væsken op i en sprøjte og overførte den tilbage til en steril krukke med medie.
Uden nogen aseptisk teknik havde vi lavet en flydende kultur fra sporer ved hjælp af den korrekte (ish) metode ved hjælp af agar.
Jeg er sikker på, at nogen vil fortælle mig, at ShitBum_2000 på Shroomery gjorde dette først i '99, men indtil da påberåber jeg mig dette som MYCOPUNKS LC KETCHUP POT TEK tm.

Nålebiopsi kloning
Vi har med succes klonet svampe ved hjælp af en stor kanyle til at biopsiere mycelium fra en svamp og putte det direkte gennem injektionsporten på agar.
Dette kunne være særligt fedt til at indsamle mycelium i felten til senere oprensning.
Så nu har vi klonet, spiret og skabt flydende kultur uden en still air box.

Was using for around 2 and a half years untill now, dont know whats happened. Had contamination in the plates before opening from the last few orders, the last having 3 out of 4 packs of 10 contaminated. Sealed packages were opened and found between 1 and 4 months of purchasing with the last looking like it had contam for a long time, like most of that 4 months. I was blamed as they were not used quick enough. Response is quick and friendly, just avoid pre poured agar plates!!!!!

Firstly, I did not blame you for anything. I offered a replacement and gave you information on use by dates as this was from an order 6 months ago.
17/04/2025 - 'I’m happy to refund the original plates which contaminated, just a heads up they should used within two months otherwise they are past their best really.'
Secondly, I offered a replacement (sent 17/04/2025 and followed up 8/5) and you never responded... I never offered a refund.
I'm going to refund the order as that's clearly what you want after leaving this review, I'm disappointed that after 3 years and 15 orders with us you'd choose to do this via review system rather than responding to our emails.

Agra pot are allways perfect and never seem to have a issue, so at least every time i buy its like it is guaranteed to be okay and each plate is always dentical in terms of colour and how much agar each pot has and overall moisture content.

had these pots now and used to clone a fruit they are great for beginners or even someone who doesn’t have still air box to do this, only one issue is the pots are some times quite unclear to see through but from a community post I’ve seen got they a different pot type from yourself which looked a lot more transparent, if they was like would be even better than they already are, also your tek video on using them was so good and informative thanks again myco
