The ever-popular MycoPunks 2x2 Flow unit. Since we started stocking this in 2022, it’s been a consistently fast-selling piece of kit: we figure the combination of the size and the lower price than the 4x2 Flow unit makes it super useful for a lot of home cultivators.

Don’t get us wrong - ideally you’d get as big a Flow unit as you can, because you are never gonna say “oh man I’ve just got too much clean working space”, but over here in the UK we don’t live in giant houses like the yanks do. The 2x2 Flow fits nicely on your kitchen worktop, dining table, or desk - anywhere you can clear a little bit of room, really. In a pinch, you could even pop your TV on the floor for a minute and use the telly stand (as long as you give it a thorough clean first). Once you’re done, it’s dead easy to store somewhere because it’s not massive. Result.

This MycoPunks Flow unit comes with the industry-standard H14 HEPA filter, which is designed to catch 99.97% of any particles that are 0.03 microns or bigger: trich, mould, bacteria, dogs, a horse, you name it, it ain’t getting through when you’re working. There’s also a prefilter on the back to keep the front one in better condition for longer.

Let's not fuck about: this is very likely to be one of the highest-cost items you'll ever buy in mycology. However, it is basically a cheat code. You unlock the ability to do anything and everything in mycology with (virtually) zero risk of contamination. Agar or liquid culture work? Simple. These things are literal game-changers if you're at all serious about growing mushrooms, which is why we made sure we had a good source of them - it was a pain in the ass to get these in the UK, and now it isn't.
