Take out of the packaging!

The number one cause of contamination is leaving bags in the original packaging for too long. Remove all sterile grain and substrate from the packaging when it arrives. Allow air to reach the white filters.

Check for damages

Before you get to work, have a quick check of all bags to ensure no splits or damage has occured during transit. If you find any damages or issues

Storage

Store grain and substrate in a cool dry place (not the fridge). Use by date on the bag although the highest chance of success comes from using the product at it's freshest.
