As you guys might know, I attended a week long course at Mycelia in Belgium. 

It was really excellent. It highlighted how much more can be learned from people in the industry who are producing at scale. 

If you don't know, Mycelia are one of the longest running mushroom spawn producers in the EU, started by Magda Verfaillie back in the mid 80s before mushrooms were even cool. The team have hundreds of years of combined knowledge and the facilities and training shows that.

The entire purpose for me attending this course was to learn the WHY of the different processes and techniques we employ to cultivate mushrooms and I feel like it absolutely achieved that.

I want to delve a little bit into the course, pass on some really nuggets of information and run through how we are implementing some of the things I've learned into MycoPunks production and longer term our facilities.
