Keeping your mushrooms dry is always a bit of a pain in the arse. If they get soft, they degrade very quickly.
These cool hygrometers are designed for 70mm mouth kilner jars, when stored with the included silica packet they keep your mushrooms at 20-30% humidity.
The silica gel packets are rechargeable and have orange indicator beads inside which turn green when moisture load is too much.
This includes:
- 1 x Kilner metal jar ring to fit the
- 1 x gasket (multi colours available!)
- 1 x thermometer / hygrometer with battery.
- 1 x 5g silica sachet.

How to recharge your silica sachet:
Heat in a microwave on DEFROST for several minutes or in an oven below 120 °C. Do not recharge until the packets become saturated; otherwise they may melt or scorch from overheating.
